Our screenprinted 6‘ x 4’ panel, depicting an historic photograph of skaters on Sligo Creek was dedicated at Takoma Park Maryland’s “Azalea Awards.” The artwork, which hangs in the Takoma Park Community Center, meant to bolster awareness of Sligo Creek as well as Historic Takoma. It is accompanied by an interpretive sign (which we also created) describing the circumstances which caused the creek to flood in the early1800s.
